INEC Adhoc Staff Shortlisted Candidates 2022-2023 is out. In a bid to select INEC Election Staff for 2023 Nigeria general election, the independent national electoral commission conducted a recruitment exercise for interested Nigerians.

This is outside the normal INEC permanent staff recruitment, those selected through adhoc recruitment will serve as election observers, presiding officers and all that.

Although the list of INEC Adhoc Staff Shortlisted candidates for 2023 general election is not yet out on their portal, we are here to guide you on how to access the list once it’s released.

There is no restriction to who will get shortlisted. If you have done election staff work in the previous election, you can still do it this time again. Those that have never done Adhoc staff job before still stand a chance but they will have to meet all the requirements specified by INEC.

An email will be sent to all the selected candidates for the election staff recruitment. Always check your email address to know when the message arrives.

Those who did not receive any email should follow the steps below to access the inec adhoc recruitment staff portal and check their name.


Enter your application number in the space provided.

The next step requires you to click on the ‘Verify status’ button to access the list.

It might be difficult going through the names one after the other. So, you are advised to click on the ‘f3 button’ on your keyboard.

All the shortlisted candidates will receive instructions on the next line of action. follow the instructions accordingly to attend the interview and training.

INEC will organize training for all the adhoc staff shortlisted candidates against 2023 general election. The training will educate them on their duty as election staff and other things they need to know.
